Dyno numbers on the DS Titanium Can

the Dyno results on the Diamond S Titanium silencer the results turned out good for the first dyno run we gained 200 to 300 RPMs on the top and
the first graft is the stock silencer the second with the DS titanium silencer

Peak HP with stock can is 7750 RPM???

I don't believe that for a second, these things are dogs under 8000 RPM.

That's what I got from this as well...7,750 peak hp just seems odd...

But, good to see the can added a few horse!!!!!!

7950 is the powerband point of the pro you guys should do some clutch work and another dyno..... still good to hear added horse but that peak power is at 8250 for top power.

there are no clutches on the sled when it is on the Dyno so clutching won't do anything I personally think the calibration on the dyno was off on a run with the stock can we second-most the winter testing I can tell you that with the stock can Peak power is right close to 8000 RPMs when we put the titanium can on the sled it gains 200 to 300 RPMs the RPM going up in the sled pulling harder tells me it's making more power with my seat-of-the-pants dyno we are hoping to get on a more advanced dyno than the land and sea dyno

If the stock Dyno sheet is accurate, holy crap. You gotta have your clutching dialed to nail peak hp. Wish the power band was a little more forgiving....

Something is goofy with that dyno sheet. 7900 to 8400 rpm the pro is within 2.5 hp from peak power. Pretty flat if you ask me.

So you're saying that with no clutching change you gain 300 RPM?

Also if I am reading your chart correctly the peak torque is 98.21 vs 98.86, a statistical tie. So the horse power increase is from a higher RPM not a gain in torque.

If you look closely at the charts it appears the torque and hp numbers were taken at the same rpm and the torque topped out at about 100 ftlbs a few rpm lower.

I see what you are saying. I was looking at the printed torque number. Now that I look at it again I see that the printed number is taken at the peak horsepower number and the peak torque is slightly higher than that.

I still find it interesting that the peak horsepower is is 200 rpm higher and the torque is 1/2 a foot pound different at peak horsepower on each chart.

That's good to know, haven't seen a stock 800 pro Dyno sheet yet. Thanks for the info!!
