These were posted in the flatland forum thought I would pass them on. Damn that must've hurt like a biotch....Watch out lunch might be lost.....
The guy was sledding up on the North Shore in Mn. His older brother was going to load his sled in the enclosed low profile trailer, as he was approaching the wood ramp his front ski carbides got stuck on the wood. He gunned it a little and the studded track just caught the wood and launched him and his sled forward, he did not have his helmet on and his head hit the upper part of the trailer. Lucky he was leaning back from the momentum or his neck would have been broken.
MODS-if it is too gory feel free to delete thread. Just thought I would pass this on to others who do not use helmet loading sleds onto trailer.
