2010 M800 track hitting tunnel coolant hoses

A friend of mine has a 2010 M800 with a 153" track. He has had problems with the track hitting the coolant hose clips on the tunnel heat exchanger, twice they have been torn off. This happens when he takes some mild jumps, nothing crazy. Any body else have this problem, is there a update on this from Cat? Thanks in advance.

2011 m8 hcr

Go and look at the parts fiche for the 2011 hcr, it has some protection plates over the hoses/clamps, they should take care of his problem.

mine did that too. there cheapass clamps too.

2011 HCR went to a 162" tunnel so the 153" track & skid wouldn't hit. I have noticed that my track on my 2010 162" has hit the cheap clamp on my cooler as well.

I just ripped mine off this weekend probably going to just put a hose clamp on them and try them.

My 2010 M8 162 has these... Did they only put them on the 162 and not the 153?

only parts fiche I have found those protectors on are 2011 m8 hcr.
My 2011 m8 sno pro didnt have them(installed now), and my buddies 2010 hcr doesnt have them either.
