I have an 07 IQR.. will have 600 HO motor with 800 clutch.. will have 151 track and IQ/Edge rear suspension under it.. I am trying to determine the best clutching and gearing setup.. Anyone running a similar setup?? Looking for best gearing option for this track as well as best weights and spring in the primary.. spring and helix in the secondary. Right now the weights I have are 10-60's I believe.. Had these in the 800 and it was good, but I liked the 62's better.. Just not sure with an IQR and this motor/track combination what I should be running.. any help is appreciated.

Unless someone chimes in here running your exact setup, I would start with the clutching and gearing from a 2006 carbed 155 rmk. they run real well and the different chassis should not matter much. I have my boys prox2 700 streched to a 136 running twin pipes. He is running pretty much a 700 rmk setup in that and it works real well. I also setup an iqr with a 700ves with twins and running the same setup that I have in the prox. You may alter a bit from the rmk specs, but not much. It will get you in the right ballpark.

Thanks.. I know the gearing on this has been altered so I need to switch it around anyway.. 151-155 isnt much difference at all so hopefully it will get me close..I may go with the almond spring on the drive clutch.. had real good luck with it on the 800.. Not sure on the 600 though.. Will it perform similar on the 6 as it did the 8.. Clutching isnt my strong point so I will have a lot of questions.. :)

I don't think you will like the almond on a 6. Been way too long since I've had my hands in them though. Mostly 7's and 8's. The 6's just don't have the torque of the big blocks and your engage will mostl likely be through the roof with the almond. Works great on the 8's for sure. Stock rmk should get you very close. That is going to be a fun sled when you get it done for sure.

almond spring 10/58 weights in the drive clutch. driven black/red or black/purple twin trax 58-38-.46 58-40-.46 helix part #LW420407 put it in the 38 for high elevation and in the 40 for low 19-41 gears.

That close to what we have in 7's. 58-38.46 with black/purple in the secondary running 19-41's. Primarys are a bit different though. The 40 angle was a bit too steep in the steep and deep.
