Run the 66/62 and drop a gram from your stock 880 setup.

yes i think your spring is to heavy, i have your same engine running a 130/230 spring with over 20 grams on 413 raMPS pulling a 162 3inch track, on clicker 3 and 4

as for yoour team secondary, i am not sure how it will compare to stock

should i leave the 160-320 primary or put in my 160-290 spring? also run around 14g weight in primary with the 415 ramps and the specified spring?? thanks for your help. Dwayne

I ran at least 50 combinations and the best was.433,s/160-320 with Toms heavy arms and 12.5 gram oversized rollers.Total weight of arm is 68 grams using the Tied 66/62.Incredable Up/backshift.All at 8000 plus elevation with 860 and 880 BB,s.

could you please tell me why you recommend taking a gram out of my primary pins? and why do you feel it works best with the 66-62 helix angle apposed to the 66-60? do you know what the tra arm weighs with the stock rollers in them? is your sled a bb sled? should i put a softer finish primary spring in it like a 290 instead of a 320? sorry for all the questions but your the only one it seems who has tried different things with it and settled with 1 setup. thanks Dwayne

What is the stock spring, Just put a bb in mine and all I did was add weight to the roller pins, do I need to change the stock primary spring to a heavier one?

I run the 160/320 at 8000 feet and up.At lower elevation you can get away with 160/290.Dump the 415 and go to 433,s.They load the more much better

was out today and the clutch setup was bang on in clicker3, it hit 8000rpm no matter what i hit or let off and gotr back into it, the tied secondary is an awesome secondary clutch it spins the track very fast when you are starting off in a climb which helps drastically in deep snow pulls, anyway my sled rips with this setup, was seeing 52-55mph track speed at any given time in approx 1-2' of spring powder.

heres a little pic of a bad avalanche that happened when we were in the area, some guys were jumpin off the cornice when it let go, they are lucky because the blocks of snow were the size of a truck, there would of been no way to save anyone in that. really wish there was a book of some sort for the dumb dumbs to read of whats safe and not so we dont have to read their names in the paper.
