I know that there are a lot of posts regarding clutching but I don't have the premium membership and cant read them all. So here is another post. I have an 09 d8 and cant seem to get it to rev above 7900 rpm in the powder. I ride primarily above 10k ft. I am running a pipe, pc3, and tried the slp weights and am currently running the stock polaris 58's. I think I am supposed to get 8100 to 8200 rpm's. How do I get there???

drop the helix down on the finish angle to something like 60/40/.40 or 58/38/.40(for that high I would do a 38) then add at least 1 delrin washer with a new stock black/purple spring..up front go back to the slp mtx weights and a slp green/pink primary spring ..add rivits as needed ..shoot for 8300-8350 on a deep climb.....

I like the second helix better..it gives you both finish angles in 1 helix....

50-121 LW Helix, 58-38ER.36 / 58-40ER.36 99.00

50-122 LW Helix, 60-38ER.36 / 60-40ER.36 99.00

50-55 Team Secondary Spring, 160-240, Black / Purple 24.95

50-57 Delrin Washer 3.34 (I use 3..some do 2 some 1)

40-77 Green/Pink Drive Spring, 160/340 22.95

..I use this exact setup from sea level up to 6000 ft regularly(except a steeper helix), many others do as well at all attitudes with slight changes in helix angles..it does work very good...I order all my stuff right from jim at slp

FYI those are SLP part #'s. As he said though his setup has been working very well. Should get you in the ballpark.
