Here is what I run in mine at 6000'-8000', a little lower elevation but may help.
19/40 gears (09 XTX with a 16" wide 2" 144" track)
Primary, B/S/B spring (stock), stock weights, 3.1 grams heel, .8 grams middle, .8 grams tip.
Secondary stock spring, 70* twist, 43/39 helix.
RPMs are 8800-9000, (I run it at a little higher rpms then stock, because the sled has an excell header)
For 8000'-10,000' you could probably add a couple grams to the heel, and leave the middle and tip empty. To hep prevent over-rev on the bottom end.
If you have time to pick up a 40 tooth bottom sprocket before you leave, it does make a difference especially when boondocking! Also helps keep the belt temps lower when climbing.
You can still use the stock chain with 19/40 gears. HTH

i do have a 17 tooth top to run with the 38 tooth bottom which should make the same gear ratio. but are you running the stock drivers or one tooth smaller?
