I am just about to button up my sled after installing a Boondocker turbo....and just wanted to check and see what weights you guys are running in your supertips. We loaded them heavy on the bottom, then 3 washers in the middle and 2 on the end. I'm going to be running 15lbs of boost, do you guys think that will put me in the ball park? total weight is 84 grams.

Edit...also need to know what springs you guys are running too. Plans are for the A/C purple in the secondary, but I'm not sure what to put in the primary.

Don't know what elevation your at but that sounds way to heavy to me. At 10,000 feet with cat green in secondary and shockwave helix ( don't know what is in the primary for spings, whatever Pual suggested) I am 72 grams at15lbs I think

yeah I think we are too heavy as well. We dug up an orange AC spring for the secondary that seemed to be doing alright today on a test ride. I was only pulling 7800 RPMs today and 16-18lbs of boost before I lost a coolant line. So I need to drop some weight and get my electronic boost controller figured out before I break something. I'm looking to max out at 15lbs of boost so I'm a little off my mark.

Like the other guy said that is too much. Not sure what altitude or which springs you're running but I'd drop 10 grams or add about 3 more lbs of boost. I was at 72-78 running 15-18 last year.

You are way off. Drop it down to about 72 grams. You should be hitting about 9,000 rpm

sounds good, I'm tearing it apart today. Do I need to have the weights even on each side of the arm or does that matter?

Thanks for the help guys!

Why woldnt you just turn your shockwave in all the way and see where your at? Theres no rule to having 2 turns out.

I took all the weight out of the tips, left 2 grams in the middle, and left both of the tungstein 7 gram weights in the bottom. Clutch engages a lot smoother but I keep hearing a tink tink tink sound from the primary when I let off the gas. When we go today I'm going to adjust the shockwave and see if it gets me closer to 8600.

super tips

ive got a impulse gonna run 15 # boost got 1 tugsten puck and 2 washers closest to the pin and three washers in the middle. shock wave like 3/4 turn out was on the rev limiter right away and them it tamed down a bit. next time out going two move the two washers from heel to the tip and adjust the shack wave out a bit more.

If your hitting the revlimiter right away that is probably a sign of not enough weith in the heal.
