ACCS removal/new venting

I have a couple RMK's (one 99 and one 2000 both with accs) I ordered an attac for one, and until I decide if I like it, I just want to remove the accs on the other.

My question is venting to the airbox. I took apart the accs unit and gutted it. Can I simply attach the vent lines to the old accs vacuum source hole?

If not, how are you guys venting the carbs with the ACCS removed?

Thanks for the help.

Buy an airbox top for a 2000 700 SKS.
Buy 2 airbox nipples and install them above the carbs about 1.5 in.
Plug the extra nipple on the right carb that goes directly to the ACCS unit.
Use the existing hoses to vent into the airbox. If you are not sure where to put them then find a 600-700 XC or SKS and look at the airbox for referance.

Jet according to a 2000 700 SKS. Typically 2 sizes leaner than what the chart says is about right for temps/elevation.

For MN I run 38 pilots, 1371G needle in the 3rd slot, 175-178 mains for above zero operation. The idle is a little touchy to temps but can be set with the airscrew.

The 1371G needle is a must for ANY Polaris 700 with Keihen carbs.
