Ok I want to go with a 18 top sprocket, 44 bottom and a 72 pitch chain... I have put on a much longer track (136 to 151) and want to make sure it can spin it. I also have 7 tooth drivers.

The sled I have is a 95 EXT powder special 580. I ride trails but like to play in powder as much as I can. When riding trails I have to keep it slow cuz my kids also ride and they don't go fast at all.

Doing the calculations I will have a 2.44 Gear ratio. Is this to much? I was just thinking this would help out the little ol 580. In the parts ficsh it looks like the Mountain cat 570 is geared with a 18 -44 combo.

Thanks for any help on this before I buy the gears.
