Clutch problem

Last year when I was riding in the Black hills I was running into this problem. The RPMs would climb but the speed wouldn't. I took a 3M pad and cleaned my clutches and put a new belt on. Still the same problem. Made sure the secondary was adjusted right. Still nothing. Maybe something is broke so it won't let the clutch open or close. Hope someone has had a problem like this and can help me out. Thanks!!

Is the belt resting at the top of the secondary? If not check for broken rollers very common!

Look at the plastic just forward of your primary clutch. Is that plastic plug missing, leaving a hole for snow to enter?? If so, there's your issue. Very common.
If not, next look at motor mounts, other ways for snow to get in, clutch wear.

I'm getting ready to start cleaning the clutches. So I will replace the primary spring and the rollers in the secondary. If there is anything else let me know.
