powder coating springs?

I'm just wondering if I can powder coat my coil springs on my walker Evan assault shocks? I'm going with a different color on the sled and they don't match. I'm assuming they are PC already from factory or is it just paint?

Did it to mine last year no problems. The company that did them told me they were originally powder coated not painted.

Do you no if they used any special kind of powder? I do my own powder coating in my garage so I just have your basic powder.

Good to know that they can be powder coated. Mine are chipped to chit from spring riding.

I do it all the time. They are powder coated. Strip and powder.

I sand blasted mine but powder won't stick?!? Anyway to fix this?

Chemical stripper to get the old powder off then blast and coat.

Possibly a self etching primer first? I have never done this with powder but have with regular paint.

I think primer would bake off, I used chemical stripper to soften the coating then blasted
