I have decided to go with a narrower setup on my 13 Pro RMK. I do not want to buy shocks because that makes the price pretty high.

Alternative Impact is $445
Z-Bros is $480
Timbersled is $850 +require shock upgrade

Dont forget Kmod at $695, I just purchased some Alternative Impact arms because I couldn't justify the extra cost of the kmod. I also chose AI over Zbroz because of the ability to maintain the swaybar. Also if you're looking for narrow, Timbersled may not be a good option as they are only a 38" arm setup.

37 is all they make, not sure why they picked that number.

It will probably be December before I get to really try them out but oh well. I don't know weight savings yet, if I recall the email he sent me said they were a tad lighter than the stock 13+ arms and thosr are lighter than my 11 arms so some weight savings. I will try and weigh the two sets to figure out the difference when I install them.

I have decided on either the alt impact or kmod and leaning towards the alt impact setup.

Looks like they had issues with the zbros, requires grinding and a new shock setup is highly recommended. They also shipped with incorrect hardware. I have dealt with another company and poorly designed a-arms before, so little worried.

Alt Impact seems like a stand-up guy who has posted on here with details on how his work with the sway bar and stock shocks.

Kmod looks to have put a lot of tech into the setup they have.

I've been looking into this for a while as well.

ALL of the companies mentioned above are top notch.

Both the Z-broz and the Alternative-Impact 36" front ends need to run 16.25" shocks for the sled to maintain factory front ride height and ski pressure.

The Z-broz does require a bit of filing or grinding of the spindle...but this is minor. The Alt impact does not require this.

I belive that the K-mod 37" front has compensated for this and keeps the ride height the same with the 2013/14/15 stock shocks...and needs a I'm checking into that right now.

The Timbersled kit measures out at 37.5" actually... though they advert it as 38"... their kit comes with billet spindles, arms and tie rods.
Works well with the 16.6" stock shocks but the 17.5 shocks need to be shortened.

2013/14/15 PRO RMK Shocks can be shortened with a simple shim-bushing for $25 OR have the body cut/threaded and the shaft also shortened. IMO, at less than $100 for the cut/thread for the PAIR... This is the best way to go as you will keep more useable travel than a shim-bushing.

Besides this... if you have a season or more on your sled... It is a good idea anyway to have your shocks serviced (use good synthetic shock oil rather than the factory walker oil)

2011/12 Stock PRO RMK shocks MUST have the body and shaft shortened PLUS... the shorter shaft end-eye changed if you want any semblance of respectable travel ...as these shocks are 17.5" long (1.25" is a lot to "shim" out of a shock and will reduce the travel by that amount)

Get the Fox's made shorter than normal .... (-)3/8", which will make them 16-1/4" long.

That is the ideal for the Z-Broz and AI it seems if you want to maintain the normal ski pressure and ride height of the sled.

The original 36" A arm kit for the Pro RMK

We have the most riders and most development on 36" A arm kits. We also offer ground clearance savings and the option of Billet upper as an option.
Just saying. :face-icon-small-coo

Happy shopping

Like every has said they are all great companies. I have the ALT Impact on my pro and love them and the customer service. I went thru 2 sets of the Ti 36" due to the low snowpack and they had me up and running in 2 days which lead to not missing a day riding I'm now using the chromalloy was a better option due to all the hidden obstacles.

I bought a pair of 36" alt a arms for my wife's sled. I wanted the narrower stance but still be able to use the sway bar for her. Should be here any day.
