I have an assault drive shaft. Can I run it in my pro?
I am switching out my drivers to 3.0 for a 3 inch track.
I know the assault shaft is more durable.
Also will a pro drive shaft fit in an assault?
Thanks for the help.

Yes, You can run the Steel Shaft from the Chain Drive Assault in the PRO RMK.

The Assault shaft you have is the same on all 2011 and 2015 Chaincase equipped sleds.

The PRO RMK Hexagonal Aluminum shaft on QuickDrive Equipped 2013/2014/2015 PRO RMK... this shaft will NOT fit in the Assault however as it is NOT machined/forged for the oil seal in a chaincase model.

You will also need to trim the rails, run an anti stab wheel kit and run the AVID PowerClaw style 7tooth drivers to run the X3 track.

The exception being the 2011/12 pro rmk which had a chaincase.

Basically any splined shaft can be used in a chaincase and the newer hex style cannot.

Correct me if i am wrong please MH.

You are Correct... I guess I was a little vague..it agrees also agrees with my statement of "all 2011 and 2015 Chaincase equipped sleds."

So yes... any splined shaft from a PRO Chassis Sled... also the 2010 RUSH shaft will fit.
