found this last night while going through everything. Could be the issue.......

was that rubbing on the secondary? I had that happen to mine and it ran weird and was almost impossible to start after it died when going into reverse

Not sure exactly what it was rubbing on, Sucks its so close to the connector, not sure of the best way to fix/splice it.

Just release the terminal from the connector and carefully remove the old wire from the terminal and then solder in a new section of wire (same gauge). Happens all the time.

Its nice to have new replacement terminals and I'm sure you can buy the correct one if you want to wait for it but its pretty easy to reuse the old one.
