OVS has finished the new turbo muffler to make the Tial turbo charged snowmobiles not such a ear burner for the rider and his friends. The new muffler only weighs 1 pound more than the conventional mufflers that are used currently. The customer will have there option of which muffler they want with all new OVS Tial kits.

Very cool!

Hard to tell with a vid, but it sure seemed quiet. Was I seeing that meter correctly? Was it reading mid 80s on the pavement? If so that's cooooool!



PS: Have Garr put some pants on.....LOL

The sled on the meter at 50ft on the exhaust side idle or 15mph drive by stay's under 89db. full throttle it runs 92db. The 800 is on the dyno having a turbo pipe made and a quite muffler as we speak. I will post specs for the 800 as soon as the pipe and muffler are done.

That thing must work awesome.........there is no other reason, you would put something that homely on your sled.....LOL

Yes Tony I am getting old and hard of hearing so making the ol' girl quite is important. When the side panel is installed she looks much better.

I'm with ya on this.

I've been getting growled at for quite few years for being too noisy. Got turbo bit last year. It was stupid noisy and I wanna make this year's project quiet!

Looking forward to the finished product. Any more news?
