I got a couple prices yesterday from one of our local dealers. Summit Sp 154 600R in black/orange with e start = $13,501, Summit X 154 with e start $16,001. No new sled for me this year unless I find a 2020 or 2021 someone is trying to get rid of for a decent price.

I know its a no no but...I've been thinking I should be on the look out for trade ins now that vets are snowchecking. So what kinda prices are guys getting for trade ins? Is it a good strategy to call dealers looking to get a trade in for a guy like me (new rider who doesn't need latest greatest)? Or is the 2nd hand market better?

this year there just haven't been many sleds up for sale at all and those that were offered fetched top dollar.

I hear you. At first my dealer was talking MSRP because that is what UTVS are going for now. I told them that wasn’t happening, and if we can’t negotiate a fair price I was walking. Well then they did, we worked out a price we were both happy with.
and the SPECIAL price is?

I ordered a Lynx 3900 and I actually asked him about that because he only charged me $500 too. He said that was up to the dealer.

Do you have to snowcheck on skidoo site only? The things all fubar! I might not can resist that price. The rmk 650 was 16 and cat doesn't offer a 600 . Sorry for hijacking but now I've got snowcheck fever lol.
